You must be 21 or older
The legal betting age in Greece is 21. Licensed bookmakers verify your identity (KYC). If you are under 21, do not bet — and ArbPlay is not for you.
Arbitrage is low-variance, not no-risk
Even "sure betting" carries real-world risk: odds move before you place both legs, bookmakers can void or limit bets, and chasing opportunities can become compulsive. A guaranteed-on-paper edge does not make betting safe to do without limits. Treat it as a disciplined activity, not a guaranteed income.
Stay in control
- Set limits on the time and money you spend — and stick to them. Most licensed operators let you set deposit, loss, and session limits.
- Never chase losses or bet to "win it back".
- Don't borrow money to bet, and never bet money you can't afford to lose.
- Take regular breaks and don't bet when stressed, upset, or under the influence.
- Keep records so you know your real position, not a guess.
Warning signs
Consider getting support if you:
- spend more time or money on betting than you intended;
- chase losses or bet to escape problems or low mood;
- lie to others about how much you bet;
- neglect work, studies, family, or finances because of betting;
- feel anxious, guilty, or unable to stop.
Self-exclusion
If you need to stop, use self-exclusion. In Greece, the Hellenic Gaming Commission (ΕΕΕΠ) oversees a self-exclusion register, and every licensed operator offers self-exclusion and limit-setting tools in your account. Self-exclusion blocks you from betting for a chosen period.
